Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Property Administrator to join our team in Claremont, New Hampshire. This is a long-term contract opportunity within the non-profit sector, focusing on supporting the operations of a senior housing community. The ideal candidate will excel in managing administrative tasks, coordinating resident services, and maintaining efficient property management processes.

Job Responsibility:

Maintain organized and up-to-date files and records to ensure smooth operations
Collect and process rent payments accurately and in a timely manner
Coordinate maintenance requests and schedule appointments with vendors as needed
Organize and manage appointments for residents, ensuring their needs are met efficiently
Utilize software tools effectively to support property management operations
Assist in the administration of affordable housing programs, including Section 8, when applicable
Provide administrative support for the management of a senior housing property with 80 units
Communicate with residents and vendors professionally to address inquiries and resolve issues

Requirements:

Proven experience in property management or a related administrative role
Strong proficiency in using property management software and other computer applications
Familiarity with affordable housing programs, such as Section 8, is highly desirable
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience working with senior housing or similar residential properties is a plus

Nice to have:

Experience working with senior housing or similar residential properties
Familiarity with affordable housing programs, such as Section 8
