Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of a commercial or residential property portfolio. This role is responsible for providing administrative support, coordinating tenant communications, maintaining property records, processing invoices, and assisting with lease documentation. The ideal candidate is customer-service focused, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position is onsite Monday to Friday.

Job Responsibility

  • Support day-to-day property management operations for commercial properties, including addressing and resolving tenant-related issues
  • Serve as a point of contact for tenants, vendors, and internal stakeholders
  • Utilize Yardi and Nexus software systems to manage property administration tasks and maintain accurate records
  • Process and track invoices, ensuring timely and accurate handling of property-related billing
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of property management software and use it to support daily administrative functions
  • Communicate effectively with tenants, vendors, maintenance teams, and internal stakeholders through both verbal and written correspondence
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail
  • Conduct property inspections and coordinate closely with maintenance staff to address repairs and operational needs
  • Assist with lease administration, including file maintenance, documentation, and tracking important lease details
  • Support tenant move-ins and move-outs, ensuring a smooth and organized transition process

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in property management, including resolving tenant-related issues
  • Experience using Yardi and Nexus software systems
  • Prior experience supporting commercial property management operations is preferred
  • Prior experience handling invoicing is required
  • Strong proficiency with property management software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively
  • Experience conducting property inspections, coordinating with maintenance staff, and assisting with lease administration
  • Ability to support tenant move-ins and move-outs

Nice to have

Previous experience supporting commercial property management operations is preferred
