We are looking for a Property Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of a commercial property. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing tenant support, vendor coordination, and detailed administrative work in a fast-paced environment. The role will focus on maintaining organized records, processing invoices accurately, and helping ensure service requests are addressed efficiently. Candidates who are comfortable with Microsoft Office and have experience in property management systems, especially Yardi, will be well suited for this position.
Job Responsibility
Manage daily administrative activities that support commercial property operations and maintain accurate office documentation
Review, enter, and track invoices to help ensure timely and accurate coding for payment processing
Serve as a point of contact for tenant inquiries and provide prompt, thorough follow-up on service-related concerns
Monitor work order activity from intake through completion and coordinate updates with tenants and internal stakeholders
Communicate with approximately 20 to 25 vendors to schedule services, confirm scope, and support timely resolution of property needs
Maintain organized records related to tenant requests, vendor activity, invoices, and general property administration
Assist with clerical tasks such as preparing correspondence, updating reports, and supporting routine office workflows
Use property management and office software to keep information current and support efficient day-to-day operations
Requirements
Experience with Yardi is strongly preferred
Prior experience in property administration, commercial property management, or a closely related administrative role
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for reporting, tracking, and general documentation
Experience handling invoice coding, vendor coordination, and work order follow-up in an office environment
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with tenants, vendors, and internal teams
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail when managing multiple requests and deadlines
Ability to work in a permanent role and adapt to changing priorities in a busy property management setting
Background supporting commercial properties is preferred
