Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Property Administrator to join our team in Sonoma, California. In this long-term contract role, you will play a pivotal part in managing multiple affordable housing sites, ensuring seamless operations and excellent tenant relations. This position offers a great opportunity for individuals with a strong background in property management and familiarity with industry-specific software.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee daily operations across multiple affordable housing sites, ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for tenant inquiries, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly
  • Coordinate with property managers and supervisors to maintain efficient workflows and meet organizational goals
  • Manage property records, including leases, maintenance schedules, and tenant communications
  • Utilize Yardi software to track rent payments, update records, and generate reports
  • Assist with financial tasks, such as budget monitoring and expense tracking
  • Ensure timely completion of maintenance requests by coordinating with vendors and contractors
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure properties are well-maintained and adhere to safety standards
  • Support leasing efforts by preparing units for new tenants and handling application processes
  • Collaborate with the team to implement policies and procedures that enhance operational efficiency

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in property management, preferably within the affordable housing sector
  • Proficiency in Yardi software for property management tasks
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple sites and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of local housing regulations and compliance standards
  • Familiarity with budgeting and financial management
  • Capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment
