Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Property Administrator to support the daily operations of a commercial or residential property portfolio. This role focuses on lease administration, tenant relations, financial tracking, and providing administrative support to the property management team.

Job Responsibility

  • Maintain and organize lease agreements, tenant files, and property documentation
  • Assist with lease administration, including renewals, amendments, and expirations
  • Track rent payments, process invoices, and support accounts payable/receivable activities
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports, budgets, and property performance metrics
  • Serve as a point of contact for tenants, handling inquiries and coordinating resolutions
  • Assist with tenant onboarding/offboarding, including move-in/move-out processes
  • Coordinate vendor services and track contracts, insurance certificates, and compliance documentation
  • Maintain property management systems and databases (e.g., Yardi, MRI, AppFolio)
  • Support property managers with reporting, correspondence, and administrative tasks
  • Ensure all records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with company standards

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2+ years of administrative experience in property management, real estate, or a related field
  • Experience with lease documentation and property management systems preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities

Nice to have

  • Experience with budgeting, rent collections, or financial reporting
  • Familiarity with commercial or residential real estate operations
  • Ability to manage multiple properties or priorities simultaneously
