Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Property Administrator to join our team in Kerman, California. In this contract role, you will play a vital part in managing residential and commercial properties while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This position offers an opportunity to apply your expertise in property management and leasing within a dynamic environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee the daily management of residential and commercial properties, ensuring smooth operations and tenant satisfaction
  • Handle leasing activities, including marketing vacant units, conducting property tours, and processing applications
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to leases, maintenance, and financial transactions
  • Coordinate property maintenance and repairs by liaising with vendors and contractors
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards in all property management activities
  • Utilize property management software, such as Yardi, to track and manage operational tasks efficiently
  • Respond promptly to tenant inquiries and concerns, fostering positive relationships
  • Prepare regular reports on property performance, occupancy rates, and financial metrics
  • Assist in budgeting and financial planning for property expenses and revenue
  • Conduct inspections to ensure properties are well-maintained and meet quality standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in property management, with a focus on residential and commercial properties
  • Proven knowledge of leasing processes and tenant management
  • Familiarity with property management software, particularly Yardi
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle various property-related tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with tenants, vendors, and stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare detailed reports
  • Understanding of local property regulations and compliance requirements
  • High level of attention to detail and problem-solving skills
