Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Property Administrator to oversee the daily operations of real estate properties in Hollister, California. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage tenant relationships, ensure compliance with regulations, and maintain the financial and operational integrity of the properties. As a long-term contract position, this opportunity offers stability and the chance to make a lasting impact on property management processes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage tenant communications, including addressing inquiries, resolving disputes, and maintaining strong relationships
  • Oversee the collection of rent payments and ensure timely processing of accounts payable and receivable
  • Coordinate property maintenance and repairs by liaising with contractors and vendors
  • Market vacant properties, screen prospective tenants, and negotiate lease agreements
  • Prepare budgets, track expenses, and generate financial reports to provide property owners with clear insights
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including documentation and insurance requirements
  • Maintain organized records of correspondence, contracts, and other essential documentation
  • Utilize accounting software systems, including JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, to manage financial and operational tasks
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance the value and efficiency of properties under management

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in property administration or property management
  • Proficiency in accounting software systems such as JD Edwards EnterpriseOne
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Familiarity with accounts payable and general accounting functions
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail for managing documentation and correspondence
  • Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of insurance policies and compliance standards
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work with tenants, contractors, and property owners
