Job Description:

This long-term contract position requires a detail-oriented individual to oversee administrative tasks, ensure compliance with regulations, and coordinate property maintenance. The ideal candidate will excel in tenant relations, maintaining property standards, and providing leadership within the management team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct detailed administrative tasks to support property management operations effectively
  • Review resident and property documentation to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory guidelines
  • Maintain thorough records and assist in preparing for audits and inspections
  • Lead the annual recertification process, including interviewing residents and gathering required documentation
  • Oversee timely and accurate recertifications in line with federal housing program standards
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff, fostering communication and collaboration within the team
  • Coordinate with maintenance personnel and external vendors to resolve property issues promptly
  • Perform routine property inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure overall upkeep
  • Address resident inquiries in a detail-oriented manner, facilitating services and promoting community engagement
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of properties and uphold high management standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in property management or a related field
  • Proficiency in property management software, such as Yardi
  • Strong understanding of residential and commercial property management practices
  • Experience in leasing and tenant relations
  • Ability to manage compliance requirements with federal housing programs
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities
  • Capability to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
