Job Description:

This long-term contract position involves managing housing programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering strong relationships with landlords and tenants. The ideal candidate will excel in property management tasks, including eligibility determinations, leasing, and client support.

Job Responsibility:

Conduct eligibility assessments for housing programs to ensure clients meet program requirements
Oversee leasing processes, including tenant onboarding and lease agreement management
Facilitate property inspections to maintain compliance with housing standards and regulations
Serve as a liaison between landlords and tenants to address concerns and foster positive relationships
Calculate tenant income to determine rent contributions and ensure accurate records
Provide outreach and support to clients, offering guidance on housing-related matters
Maintain compliance with organizational and agency policies in all housing program operations
Utilize property management software, such as Yardi, to track and manage housing data effectively
Monitor program operations to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary adjustments
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth program administration and service delivery

Requirements:

Proven experience in property management, with a focus on residential or commercial properties
Familiarity with leasing processes and tenant relations
Strong knowledge of housing regulations and compliance standards
Proficiency in property management software, such as Yardi
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to calculate income and determine eligibility for housing programs
Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with clients and landlords
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
