We are looking for a detail-oriented Property Administrator to support day-to-day property operations in Northridge, California. This contract position with potential for a permanent opportunity is ideal for someone who brings hands-on experience in property management and leasing support across residential and commercial environments. The person in this role will help maintain organized property records, coordinate tenant-related activities, and assist with administrative processes that keep operations running smoothly.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee administrative tasks that support the daily operation of residential and commercial properties, ensuring records and communications remain accurate and up to date
Assist with leasing activities by preparing documentation, responding to tenant and prospect inquiries, and helping coordinate unit or space availability
Maintain tenant files, lease information, and property data within Yardi Software and other internal systems with a high level of accuracy
Coordinate with property managers, vendors, and tenants to track service requests, follow up on outstanding issues, and support timely resolution
Prepare routine reports, notices, and correspondence related to occupancy, renewals, and general property administration
Support rent collection processes, invoice tracking, and other basic accounting-related administrative duties as needed
Help monitor compliance with lease terms, property procedures, and documentation requirements across assigned locations
Contribute to smooth office operations by organizing contracts, managing calendars, and assisting with special projects tied to property management needs
Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience in property administration, property management, or a closely related real estate support role
Practical knowledge of residential property management, commercial property management, and leasing coordination
Experience using Yardi Software for tenant records, lease administration, or property-related reporting
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain detailed documentation
Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with tenants, vendors, and internal stakeholders
Proficiency with standard office software and general administrative processes in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with property management teams
