Job Description:

Robert Half Contract Finance and Accounting division is looking for a Property Accountant in Reno, Nevada for our client in the commercial real estate industry. As the Property Accountant, you will be tasked with various responsibilities ranging from account coding to financial reporting. This opportunity offers a short term contract/temporary employment.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee the process of accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Utilize Yardi Property Management software for various accounting tasks
Prepare and present monthly financial reports for review
Train staff on the efficient use of Yardi software and provide solutions to their queries
Conduct regular checks and updates on accounting software systems

Requirements:

Proficiency in account coding is required for this position
Must be competent in using accounting software systems
Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) is essential
Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is also required
Familiarity with Yardi Property Management is a must
The candidate must have the ability to generate monthly financial reports
A strong understanding of commercial real estate is needed for this role
