Job Responsibility:
Perform accurate bank reconciliations for multiple property accounts
Post, adjust, and review monthly journal entries
Proactively detect and resolve errors—this is not a data entry role
Manage accounts receivable: bill properties at the start of each month
Reconcile payroll processed through ADP
Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements
Work under accrual-based accounting principles
Requirements:
4-year degree in accounting
3+ years of property management accounting experience
Intermediate Excel skills (able to navigate spreadsheets
no pivots or VLOOKUPs required)

Minimum of 3 years of experience in property management accounting
Proficiency in month-end close processes and accrual accounting practices
Strong knowledge of general ledger management and financial statement preparation
Experience with accounting software, such as AppFolio, and intermediate Excel skills
Solid understanding of accounts receivable and billing processes
Demonstrated ability to perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple properties
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with leadership and operations teams
