We are looking for a Property Accountant to join a dynamic accounting team in the West Island. If you have experience managing the full accounting cycle, have worked in a public company, and thrive in a collaborative environment, this opportunity could be the perfect fit for you!

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing the full accounting cycle for a property portfolio
  • Preparing and analyzing financial statements and management reports
  • Overseeing cash management to maintain optimal balances
  • Handling year-end tenant reconciliations for realty tax and CAM billings
  • Assisting in budget preparation in collaboration with other departments
  • Communicating with external stakeholders and providing financial insights.

Requirements:

  • A college or University Degree in financial accounting or related
  • 5+ years of experience in real estate
  • Knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting
  • Excel skills
  • Bilingual (international exposure)
  • Attention to detail, autonomy and a passion for accuracy.
