Requirements

At least 2-3 years previous work-related experience as a Material Handler or similar role in the manufacturing industry
Mandatory valid and current forklift license with proven experience operating sit-down propane counterbalance, stand-up reach trucks and dockstocker
Valid driver's permit
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs manually
Willingness to work rotating shifts if needed

Job Responsibility

Ensure parts are moved to the proper locations within the facilities with efficiency and accuracy
Assist in the staging and kitting of jobs as required to support the manufacturing schedule
Co-ordinate the movement of inventory throughout the plants, managing internal logistics
Help maintain a neat, organized shop and yard, adhering to 5S principles
Perform the receiving of inventory as required, ensuring all documentation is processed correctly
Assist Shipping and Receiving in the loading and unloading of trucks when required
Accurately receive and enter product into the Visual system
Follow all Occupational Health & Safety Regulations and Company Health & Safety Policies and Procedures without exception
Perform any additional duties as required by the Supervisor to support Manufacturing & Logistics operations
