Job Responsibility

With assistance, increase propane sales through door-to-door sales, marketing programs, customer referrals, and telemarketing
Grow and maintain current market share through prompt delivery of all products and regular communication with current customer base
Make proper recommendations of propane and services to customers and promote CHS products and services
Perform propane and equipment installation, repair and delivery work as required by local, state, and federal regulations
Invoice all products and services accurately as they are delivered or sold
Promptly handle all customer complaints with follow-up ensuring complaint resolution
Ensure all daily paperwork is accurate and complete
Participate in increasing departmental efficiency and reducing operational costs
Adhere to CHS pricing, credit, inventory and safety policies

Inspect, test, configure, and troubleshoot Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) — both mechanically and electrically — across different manufacturers and voltage classes

Help develop, review, and improve company PM checklists, service intervals, and maintenance procedures to ensure consistency and quality across the field team
Coordinate with electricians, contractors, and other trades on larger installation or commissioning projects — managing sequencing, communicating scope, and keeping jobs on track without constant management oversight
Conduct job site walk-throughs to assess existing infrastructure, identify requirements for new installations or upgrades, and provide technical input to support estimating and proposals
