Knoxville’s leading radio stations are seeking a motivated, outgoing individual to join our Promotions Team. This role supports promotional activities across our four local radio stations and offers an outstanding opportunity to break into the industry with a highly respected company. The Promotions Tech serves as the on-site logistics and technical coordinator for remote broadcasts. You will act as the “face of the station” and our brand ambassador when interacting with the public. Key Responsibilities: Technical Execution: Lead on-site coordinator for remote broadcasts. Set-Up & Teardown: Prepare equipment including booths, audio gear, and station banners. Operational Success: Ensure broadcasts air on time without technical issues. Equipment Care: Ensure gear is neatly packed and stored back in its case. Brand Presence: Represent stations professionally and provide excellent customer service. Logistics: Drive station vehicles to and from events. Support: Event photography, registration materials, errands, and prize inventory security. Schedule: Flexible hours (max 25 hours/week). Must work evenings and weekends. Technical – Proficient with cell phones, computers, and audio equipment. Physical – Capable of safely lifting and moving 50+ pounds. Logistics – Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and insurance. Compliance – Satisfactory motor vehicle record check. Soft Skills – Reliable, punctual, and able to work under pressure.
