At Deliveroo, our Global Promotions team is on a mission to build lasting relationships with our customers from their very first order by ensuring we’re an affordable habit across restaurants and grocers, personalising for every moment and sustainably balancing growth and profitability. This role reports into the Global Promotions Director and combines analytics and execution to drive targeted, high-impact customer engagement. You will own performance reporting, audience operations, and campaign analysis - leveraging customer cohort insights, incrementality measurement, and incident investigations to optimise promotions and improve efficiency at scale.
Job Responsibility:
Identify consumer cohort trends, and suggest areas to intervene within the customer lifecycle
Work with complex data sets to develop strategic, analysis-motivated consumer pricing and promotions plans
Analyze campaign results to identify drivers of performance and opportunities to iterate on test structure
Manage end-to-end audience operations, including segmentation, uploads, orchestration
Partner with Campaign Owners within the Promotions team to test and manage multiple overlapping promotions across segments and markets to ensure effective campaign targeting
Partner with Analytics and Engineering teams to create forecasting and reporting structures that can be scaled
Investigate campaign or performance incidents, identify root causes, and implement solutions to improve reliability and outcomes
Own weekly business reporting (WBR), delivering clear insights on promotions performance, key trends, and opportunities
Establish a strong working relationship with cross functional stakeholders in our Analytics, Product, Tech & Strategy teams
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience and 4+ years of experience in finance/management consulting, business operations, growth marketing/marketing analytics, or business analytics
Strong analytical/SQL skills
experience building forecasting models for marketing campaigns, digging into large data sets, translating it into applicable insights, proposing and executing data driven strategies to drive performance
Advanced Excel skills to perform complex functions
Experienced at communicating data driven insights for senior stakeholders verbally and in writing
Strong business acumen and results focused
Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
Experience with CRM technology including ESPs, segmentation tools, and complex data structures and systems
Experience translating data into applicable insights for partners
