PROJECT WORKER - GLOUCESTER (TEMPORARY ROLE) £14.50 per hour Are you motivated to make a meaningful impact in your community? I am looking for people to support a respected charity supporting adults at risk of homelessness, and I'm looking for a Project Workers to join their inclusive team in Gloucester. You'll help deliver practical, person‑centred support, empowering people to move forward and engage positively with their community.

Job Responsibility

  • Building positive, professional relationships with service users and partner agencies
  • Keeping accurate records in line with organisational standards
  • Promoting a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment
  • Participating in team meetings, training, and ongoing development
  • Responding to individual needs with empathy and practical guidance
  • Contributing ideas to improve services and encourage innovation

Requirements

  • Experience supporting people facing mental health challenges, homelessness, or drug and alcohol addiction
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good organisational abilities and confidence managing varied priorities
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to helping others
  • IT literacy for record-keeping and communication
  • Flexibility for evening or weekend work
  • DBS on the Update Service is a strong advantage
