This is an excellent opportunity for a client-focused Project Surveyor to work on a diverse portfolio of projects across the Midlands while gaining full project lifecycle exposure and making a significant impact on client success. Whether you're already MRICS qualified or currently working towards your APC, this Project Surveyor position offers structured support, ongoing mentoring, and a clearly defined pathway for career progression all the way to Partner level.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver pre and post-contract cost consultancy services across multiple projects
  • Manage projects from RIBA Stage 1 through to post-completion, ensuring delivery meets client expectations
  • Undertake measurements and cost planning activities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and contractors, fostering collaboration and communication
  • Support commercial management and contribute to process improvements and best practice initiatives
  • Attend and lead project meetings to drive successful project outcomes
  • Carry out site visits across the Midlands as required
  • Work across multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring high standards of service delivery

Requirements

  • A solid surveying background with experience delivering projects from inception through to completion
  • Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills
  • Excellent relationship-building abilities and a collaborative approach
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to support successful project delivery
  • An ambitious attitude and desire to continually learn and develop
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Nice to have

  • MRICS qualified or currently working towards APC
  • Consultancy or professional practice experience
  • Experience using CostX, BIM and/or Revit
  • Exposure to commercial development projects
