We are currently looking for a full-time, permanent, Project Support Technician within the South-East Thames Valley Region. In this site-based role, you will be ensuring the delivery of project work in the support of the mains upgrade program within Thames Valley. You will undertake operational tasks, resolve customer issues, and carry out network valve activities with minimal disruption to water supplies. This front-line position ensures the continued success of our business – we simply can’t operate without your skills and commitment.
Job Responsibility:
Investigating network issues to resolve pressure abnormalities, leakage queries, metering concerns, and supply interruptions
Liaising with all stakeholders to ensure efficient project delivery, whilst upholding Thames Water values and behaviours
Supporting teams on Pressure Management Maintenance when needed
Supporting the completion of checking key High Consequence Valves and High-Risk Valves to maintain business compliance
Promoting health and safety by modelling best practice and identifying improvements
Requirements:
Full UK driving licence, as this role involves travelling between multiple sites. You will be provided with a van and the relevant tools/equipment
Ability to work autonomously as well as within a highly organised team
Adaptability and a can-do attitude, as you will be required to work in all weather conditions and tackle a range of different challenges
Nice to have:
Knowledge of the clean water network, and an understanding of domestic plumbing, water mains, & leakage detection
A water industry qualification, or current certifications that cover Water Hygiene, NRSWA unit 2, disinfection, sampling, flushing, valve operations, and/or CALM
First Aid Training
An understanding of the Permit to Work system

Competitive salary starting from £29,000 to £37,440 per annum, depending on skills and experience
