Job Description

We are growing within the PAS Defence Team and are looking for a dedicated Trainee to join us. We have a role available for a Project Support Services (PSS) Traineeship in our Defence division. This is a permanent full-time position based in Darwin, Northern Territory. Throughout the program, the Trainee PSS Coordinator will gain hands‑on experience while completing the nationally recognised BSB40920 Certificate IV in Project Management Practice.

Job Responsibility

  • Support planning, scheduling, and delivery of Project Data Services work to meet time and budget targets
  • Perform physical data checks to ensure accuracy and integrity
  • Oversee hand‑over and take‑over activities, ensuring smooth transitions and contractual compliance
  • Maintain clear communication with project teams, defence personnel, and contractors
  • Produce and maintain project records, including progress reports, validation outputs, and HOTO logs
  • Ensure all work aligns with defence regulations and standards
  • Identify and address risks or issues during execution, validation, or transitions
  • Contribute to process improvements to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements
