Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting a Project Support Associate I (3812) in Piketon, OH. Under general supervision, performs Project Support job functions as assigned by management. Typical job responsibilities assist and support management in ensuring that all site Project Support are conducted in a manner that is safe, cost effective and fully compliant with procedures and all contractual, statutory, and regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibility

  • Assigned job duties may support specific Project Support projects, processes, administrative, business services or related areas
  • Assist, administratively, to the total fiscal and administrative functions of a project including office services, contract administration, procurement, warehousing, accounting, timekeeping, payroll and document control
  • Assist with the coordination and scheduling of work activity of an assigned craft within the project construction effort as needed
  • Assist with monitoring project activities to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards and to achieve work efficiency
  • Assist with administration of contracts in accordance with policies and procedures for the maximum benefit of the project and client
  • Support business development activities as needed
  • Provides technical, administrative and/or functional support to the Project Support team
  • Perform duties general/routine to moderately complex in nature
  • Other job related duties as assigned
  • Maintains knowledge of and demonstrates ability to perform work safely in accordance with all approved safety policies, procedures and applicable regulations and performs assigned duties in a safe manner
  • Actively participates in Safety Work Groups

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in a related field and 1 year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required
  • Basic interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of and experience with nuclear facility Project Support
  • Knowledge of and experience with DOE nuclear facility safety including technical safety requirements, processes and reporting requirements
  • Attention to detail
  • Basic PC skills including Microsoft software
  • DOE “L” or “Q” clearance or ability to obtain a DOE “L” or “Q” clearance
  • US citizenship is required
