Project Superintendent

• Support Senior Superintendent to complete all work on the Project
• Administer a safety program that provides for a safe work environment
• Represent company supervision and management at the project and maintain communication with various contractors
• Direct and coordinate the activities of the various trade groups on job sites
• Ensure positive work progress according to schedule
• Supervise total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise on-site functions
• Assist project management in developing and implementing project work plans and procedures
• Comply, understand, and support corporate safety, quality, and environmental initiatives

• 5-10 years’ experience on environmental remediation construction projects
• Supervisory experience including excavation, earthwork, dewatering, sheet piling, and general construction work
• Demonstrated leadership ability
• Strong understanding of environmental remediation methods, heavy construction equipment, project scheduling, planning, and blueprint reading
• Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills
• Supervisory experience working in a union environment a plus
