In your role as Project Specialist for the BMW Plant Debrecen with focus on Production System and Sustainability, you are actively involved in shaping the streategic concepts and activities of the plant and thus creating a coherent overall target picture for the entire plant.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work closely with all the technologies in the factory to ensure responsible management of the production system
  • Manage sustainability 'lighthouse' projects at the Debrecen plant, including the preparation of management templates & decision-making processes and monitoring the execution phase
  • Represent and promote lean and sustainable mindset in the plant including the steering support of the local process excellence and sustainability circle
  • Actively support the work of the local Process Excellence and Sustainability team by initiating new ideas and seeking improvement opportunities
  • Manage strategic processes and ensure that process excellence and sustainability indicators and targets are met

Requirements:

  • Degree in engineering, industrial engineering, environmental economics, economics or a similar relevant tertiary qualification
  • Several years of experience in managing complex projects, including digitalisation projects
  • Experience in leading projects in a manufacturing environment
  • Commitment to continuous improvement of production systems, sustainability and innovative, open-minded thinking
  • Confident communication in Hungarian and English, both orally and in writing
  • Clear and convincing communication
  • Ability to work with other areas and build relationships easily
