Amentum has an opportunity for a highly motivated Project Security Coordinator / Administrative Operations Analyst to provide overall coordination of classified and unclassified projects in support of U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) J85 Science & Technology Office priorities. This position is located at Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii.
Job Responsibility:
Provide overall coordination of classified and unclassified projects in support of U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) J85 Science & Technology Office priorities
Support USINDOPACOM J85 by providing coordination and execution support for International Science & Technology (S&T) Engagement initiatives, to include the Pacific Operational Science and Technology (POST) Conference, Joint International Experimentation (JIE), and other innovation/S&T workshops
Provide comprehensive support to the Science Advisor and Deputy by managing complex calendars, high-level travel, and secure communications (SVTC/MPE), while spearheading the end-to-end execution of major events
Provide principal security management and administrative support to the USINDOPACOM Science & Technology (S&T) Division, J85
Provide planning, coordination, and administrative support for International S&T initiatives, to include Joint International Experimentation (JIE) and other innovation and S&T workshops
Manage and facilitate communications among stakeholders at multiple classification levels and via various mediums (i.e., SVTC, MPE, VOIP)
Process required paperwork and onboard new arrivals to USINDOPACOM with required visitors’ security clearances, facility access, and person-to-person communication and coordination to ensure applicable guidelines and regulations are understood
Manage and track J85 Badge Access levels and assignments
Coordinate visitor security clearances and communications for high-level delegations and current members of J85
Process foreign visit requests (FVR), and visit access requests (VAR), in accordance with DoD regulations
Complete pre-screen SCI paperwork, schedule read-ins, and review SF-86s for initial and periodic reinvestigations for military, civilian, and contractor personnel assigned to J8
Use the Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2) to review, delegate, and track J85 division actions, ensuring strict adherence to military protocols and timely delivery
Analyze program data and inter-relationships, coordinate accurate and concise program plans & proposals and be able to prepare point, position, and decision papers in support of J85
Plan, prepare and organize meetings (in-person and virtual) and provide information, training, and operational support to the J85 Science & Technology Science Advisor, Deputy, and to the Division
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or 10 years equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
At least three (3) years of experience in a related field (security, management of classified programs, administration, intelligence)
Knowledge of principles and processes regarding military administration, security management duties, knowledge of Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) requirements and standards
Demonstrated in-depth level of knowledge of DOD manuals, instructions, regulations, guidelines, and Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs) pertaining to national security programs (i.e., DoD 5105.21 V1-3, SECNAVINST 5510.30/36, ICD 704, and ICD 705)
Demonstrated ability to work independently under general direction in a fast-paced environment, as well as demonstrated ability working well within a team environment
Exceptional written and oral communication skills sufficient to prepare and present findings, recommendations and original ideas or concepts
Demonstrated exceptional organizational skills and ability to operate in a high-pressure environment while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism
Demonstrated ability to resourcefully, and effectively support senior leadership in tracking and reporting on projects, applications, and engagements
Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with and gain the cooperation of senior leadership, supervisors, managers, and co-workers on complex or controversial issues
Proficiency in MS Office collaboration tools (Sharepoint, MS Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Planner)
Knowledge and use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tools in support of government client objectives (e.g. *GPT, GenAI, AskSage, MAVEN, python, etc.)
Must have an active Top-Secret Clearance and be SCI eligible (TS/SCI)
US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top Secret Clearance
Nice to have:
Master's degree from an accredited college or university
At least six (6) years of experience supporting the Department of Defense (DoD), including at least four (4) years of experience in military administration and operations
Extensive familiarity with Joint Services Correspondence requirements, have experience or knowledge of organizations, functions and operations of the activity serviced, USINDOPACOM, higher echelon commands and the relationships with other federal activities and private industry
At least 3 years’ experience working in the Indo-Pacific region
and experience in operational or strategic levels of DoW planning and/or administrative support
Proficient in authoring or editing analytical and/or policy documents
