We are looking for a skilled Project Scheduler to join our client's team in Pelzer, South Carolina. In this long-term contract role, you will play a crucial part in managing and optimizing project schedules to ensure timely and efficient delivery of infrastructure solutions. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, maintaining project accuracy, and identifying potential risks to keep projects on track and within budget.
Job Responsibility:
Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules that align with best practices and organizational standards
Track project progress and generate detailed reports to help teams evaluate performance and make informed decisions
Identify potential delays or risks in project schedules and implement timely interventions to mitigate impacts
Establish and manage scopes of work using Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) to maintain project control and integrity
Analyze critical project activities, provide forecasts, and recommend actions to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget
Maintain a comprehensive project risk register to proactively address and minimize risks
Conduct baseline tracking, perform "what-if" analyses, and design contingency plans for unforeseen challenges
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve project issues and coordinate action items effectively
Ensure accurate version control of project schedules and maintain compliance with organizational standards
Utilize tools such as Primavera, Procore, and Power BI to enhance scheduling and reporting processes
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, or a related field
Proven expertise in project scheduling, planning processes, and budget management
Proficiency in tools like Primavera, Procore, and Power BI
Strong knowledge of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and risk management practices
Experience in infrastructure solutions, construction, or manufacturing environments
Ability to perform "what-if" analyses and develop contingency strategies
Familiarity with ERP systems and financial tracking processes
Excellent coordination and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
