Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Project Scheduler to join our client's team in Pelzer, South Carolina. In this long-term contract role, you will play a crucial part in managing and optimizing project schedules to ensure timely and efficient delivery of infrastructure solutions. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, maintaining project accuracy, and identifying potential risks to keep projects on track and within budget.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules that align with best practices and organizational standards
  • Track project progress and generate detailed reports to help teams evaluate performance and make informed decisions
  • Identify potential delays or risks in project schedules and implement timely interventions to mitigate impacts
  • Establish and manage scopes of work using Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) to maintain project control and integrity
  • Analyze critical project activities, provide forecasts, and recommend actions to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget
  • Maintain a comprehensive project risk register to proactively address and minimize risks
  • Conduct baseline tracking, perform "what-if" analyses, and design contingency plans for unforeseen challenges
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve project issues and coordinate action items effectively
  • Ensure accurate version control of project schedules and maintain compliance with organizational standards
  • Utilize tools such as Primavera, Procore, and Power BI to enhance scheduling and reporting processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, or a related field
  • Proven expertise in project scheduling, planning processes, and budget management
  • Proficiency in tools like Primavera, Procore, and Power BI
  • Strong knowledge of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and risk management practices
  • Experience in infrastructure solutions, construction, or manufacturing environments
  • Ability to perform "what-if" analyses and develop contingency strategies
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and financial tracking processes
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
