Our client, a major Oil and gas company, is looking for a Project Scheduler (Nuclear Project) to work on a 12 months contract in Richland, WA

Job Responsibility

  • Schedule project activities (date, time, sequence) for the Nuclear or Engineering Projects
  • Perform schedule maintenance between Passport and Primavera scheduling tools
  • Assist various project managers in developing schedules for on-line, outage projects and life-cycle schedules
  • Deliver a timely, coherent, comprehensive, and accurate set of schedules for assigned projects
  • Manage capital project activities for refueling outages, forced outages, and on-line work
  • Provide oversight of staff involved in planning, leading, controlling, and monitoring
  • Ensure work is implemented safely, with quality, on schedule, and within budget
  • Develop budgets including tracking cost versus budget for assigned projects
  • Assure proper progress and focus through frequent interface with the client, engineers, related parties, and management
  • Develop and manage contracts and interface with vendors
  • Develop project schedules commensurate with project complexity and size
  • Prepare and deliver written and oral communications to various groups including senior management
  • Develop and maintain long range plan strategies associated with assigned projects
  • Support effective implementation of the Columbia Generating Station Self-Assessment and Corrective Action Program

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field from accredited college or university OR Associates degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related technical curriculum from accredited college or university AND 2 years experience in a technical field OR High School Diploma/GED AND four years experience in a technical field
