Working closely with Business Unit Managers and the Delivery team, this role owns the evaluation and prioritization of resource requests, makes allocation decisions based on business priorities, capacity, and skill alignment, and determines when external partners are needed while guiding the selection and engagement of those resources.

  • Maintain team professional profiles, resumes, and skills data to support staffing decisions, workforce planning, and client commitments
  • Track certifications and credentials to ensure readiness for project assignments and future skill planning
  • Identify and resolve capacity gaps, overallocations, and skill mismatches by determining appropriate reassignments or staffing adjustments
  • Determine when external or partner resources are required and guide their selection and allocation

  • Prepare and interpret reports on availability, utilization, and skill coverage to guide staffing strategies and capacity planning
  • Own the improvement and standardization of resourcing processes, tools, and decision frameworks
  • Reduce administrative burden on leaders by owning resource allocation workflows and staffing coordination

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of experience in resource management, workforce planning, or delivery operations involving staffing decisions and cross-functional coordination
  • Experience supporting project-based or professional services teams where work is assigned based on skills and availability
  • Strong organizational skills and experience maintaining structured data used to inform staffing and operational decisions
  • Comfortable working across stakeholders and exercising independent judgment to balance competing priorities
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and familiarity with tools used for analysis, forecasting, and resource planning
  • Experience with resource management, capacity planning, or project tracking tools (e.g., Asana, Smartsheet, Jira, Float, or similar)
  • High attention to detail and a track record of reliable, accurate work
  • Ability to identify gaps or conflicts and recommend or implement appropriate staffing solutions
  • Experience in consulting, technical, engineering, or other professional services environments
  • Previous experience in a resourcing or workforce planning role with responsibility for influencing or making staffing decisions

  • Comfort improving or standardizing processes, templates, or tracking tools and establishing best practices for resourcing workflows
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

What we offer
