Job Description

A leading UK property and development consultancy are now seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding commercial team. This Project Quantity Surveyor opportunity is focused on delivering education sector projects across London and the South East. The Project Quantity Surveyor will work on live schemes from pre-contract through to final account, providing full Project quantity surveying services. This role is well suited to a driven quantity surveyor looking to progress within a professional surveying environment where structured development and project exposure are central. The Project Quantity Surveyor will be based from modern offices with flexible working arrangements.

Job Responsibility

  • Providing full quantity surveying services on education sector projects
  • Cost planning, budgeting and financial reporting
  • Procurement and tendering of subcontract packages
  • Contract administration and change control
  • Valuations, variations and final accounts
  • Working closely with project managers, design teams and site teams

Requirements

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
  • Proven experience delivering education sector projects
  • Strong understanding of UK construction contracts
  • Ability to manage costs and communicate clearly with stakeholders
  • Working towards or holding MRICS or equivalent professional qualification
