Job Description:

Would you be interested in working for one of the UK's most renowned Sub-contractors? This role is project based, working as part of a small team on a £8m Groundworks/Demolition scheme. They act as Sub-contractor contractor for the majority of their projects - so in this role you would have exposure to our full breadth of activities throughout a single project life-cycle. Reporting directly to a Senior Quantity Surveyor.

Job Responsibility:

Maximising profit through managing and challenging the efficiency of the integrated in house delivery model
Ensuring contractual and commercial risks and opportunities are identified and managed
Working closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor to develop a collaborative relationship with the client so that both parties meet their objectives
Working closely with the Project Manager and Senior Quantity Surveyor to ensure the correct administration of the contract and ensuring that all responsibilities are fulfilled

Requirements:

Able to demonstrate a good track record and reputation, performing a similar role in a related sector (Groundworks/Demolition)
Knowledge and experience of administering either JCT or Bespoke forms of contract
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Able to provide commercially focused pragmatic solutions
Structured and organised
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK
