Job Description

A well-established and highly regarded construction and property consultancy is seeking a commercially driven Project Quantity Surveyor to join their Central London team. The Project Quantity Surveyor will play an important role in delivering professional quantity surveying services across a diverse portfolio of commercial, residential, education and public sector projects.

Job Responsibility

  • Preparing cost plans, budgets and feasibility assessments
  • Assisting with tender documentation and contract preparation
  • Managing procurement processes and subcontract negotiations
  • Monitoring valuations, variations and change control
  • Supporting risk management and value engineering exercises
  • Overseeing interim valuations and contributing to final accounts
  • Producing financial reports and project cost updates

Requirements

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
  • Experience working as a Project Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor within construction or consultancy
  • Good knowledge of construction contracts (JCT preferred)
  • Experience supporting projects through the full project lifecycle
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
