Job Description:

A design-led, multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking a proactive Project Quantity Surveyor to join their close-knit team in Leicester. Specialising in the education sector, this is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of projects ranging from £100k to £10m, including refurbishments, new builds, feasibility studies, and the delivery of brand-new sports halls.

Job Responsibility:

  • Take ownership of projects ranging from £100k to £10m, including refurbishments, new builds, feasibility studies, and the delivery of brand-new sports halls
  • Working closely with in-house Architects and Building Surveyors
  • Taking a leading role in cost control, project delivery, and client engagement

Requirements:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
  • MRICS status preferred or working towards chartership
  • Experience managing cost control on refurbishment and new build projects
  • Strong understanding of feasibility studies and project management principles
  • Previous work within the education sector beneficial, but not essential
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with internal and external teams
  • Comfortable running projects from inception to completion
