An ambitious and well-regarded independent construction consultancy is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to join their Cambridge team. Job Responsibility:
Assisting with cost planning, budgeting and feasibility studies
Supporting procurement processes, tender preparation and analysis
Assisting in the administration of contracts (primarily JCT)
Monitoring project costs, variations and change control
Supporting valuations, interim payments and final accounts
Preparing cost reports and financial updates
Working closely with project teams and stakeholders to support successful delivery
Requirements:
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
Previous experience as a Project Quantity Surveyor, Assistant Quantity Surveyor or similar
Good understanding of JCT contracts and commercial processes
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Confident communication and organisational ability
Ambition to progress towards chartership (RICS or similar)
