Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Programme & Project Practice Lead to play a pivotal leadership role within Business Excellence, part of VOIS Business Operations and Transformation. This role is accountable for leading a high-performing, multi-disciplinary delivery practice responsible for complex transformation programmes, continuous improvement initiatives, customer-driven projects, and internal strategic priorities. The role combines strategic leadership, people development, and accountability for consistent, high-quality project delivery that drives measurable business outcomes.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing practice of senior programme managers, project managers, analysts, and coordinators, fostering a culture of trust, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Establish and continuously enhance robust, well-documented project and programme management ways of working
  • Drive consistent adoption of industry-leading methodologies including Agile, SAFe, Lean, MSP, and PRINCE2
  • Ensure projects and programmes are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards, with clear performance measures and KPIs
  • Ensure all initiatives contribute directly to business objectives, delivering improvements in cost efficiency, quality, customer experience, and employee experience
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery and strong alignment with organisational priorities
  • Act as a role model for inclusive leadership, effective stakeholder engagement, and operational excellence across the delivery community

Requirements

  • An experienced leader with a strong track record of delivering complex technical and business change programmes
  • Comfortable operating in senior stakeholder and matrix environments, influencing across functions and levels
  • A clear and confident communicator, able to translate complex change into meaningful messages for diverse audiences
  • Highly knowledgeable in programme and project management disciplines, combined with modern agile and lean delivery approaches
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent, with programme or project management accreditation
  • an MBA is advantageous
