Job Description

In this role you’ll project manage the judicious transformation of BT’s Colleague facing Digital Workplace IT Service, Engineering, Collaboration and Office capability. You’ll be part of a wider team of project management leaders who are realising our vision to make BT a digital, lean-agile company, and you’ll be delivering our public and internal commitments. The role holder will be liable for the end to end delivery of the Digital Workplace capability and service transformation project(s) aligned to horizontal capabilities, ensuring these are delivered to concur timeframes, quality targets and within budget. Day to day, you’ll spend your time project managing the modernization of products and services for colleagues right across BT. You’ll unlock new ways of working for BT colleagues, making it easier to create better value for shareholders and customers. You’ll also manage the judicious planning (people, process, technology, data, costs) of end-to-end persona-based experiences, resulting in improved productivity and collaboration right across BT.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years experience of managing large, complex technical delivery projects
  • Stakeholder management to Director and occasionally Managing Director level
  • Ability to communicate and tell a story to all levels within a corporate workplace
  • Comfortable managing people either in matrix environment or direct line management
  • Familiarity with Collaboration and Office technology capabilities
  • JIRA experience – running projects / programmes
  • Project Management expertise including planning, risk and issue management, reporting, resource management and financial planning/budgeting
  • Systems thinking
  • Strong Stakeholder management, with the ability to hold others to account, align and influence
  • Storytelling with data
  • Able to lead and motivate cross functional teams
