Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Project/Programme Manager with a strong background in civils and construction to lead, coordinate, and manage multiple projects within our manufacturing environment. You will be instrumental in ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Job Responsibility

  • Plan, manage, and deliver civils and construction projects from initiation through to completion across the manufacturing site
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk registers
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, procurement, and operations to ensure alignment and smooth project delivery
  • Manage contractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant legislation, codes of practice, and industry standards
  • Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and methodologies within the organisation

Requirements

  • Proven experience in project/programme management within civils and construction, preferably in food manufacturing or industrial sectors
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and health & safety requirements
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in project management tools and software
  • Relevant professional qualifications such as PRINCE2, APM, or equivalent
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work, with a problem-solving mindset
