Job Description:

The Project Management Specialist role requires 8-10 years of experience in managing large-scale projects, particularly in Banking, Healthcare, and Insurance sectors. The candidate must possess PMP or Prince 2 certifications and demonstrate strong skills in project planning, stakeholder management, and risk management. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to lead global teams are essential for success in this position.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of large/medium-scale project management initiatives across multiple towers and geographies
  • Ensure delivery of project outcomes within defined time, cost, and quality parameters
  • Oversee complex knowledge transfer processes with robust quality checks and governance
  • Develop detailed project management plans, coordinating with various departments and stakeholders, managing timelines and budgets, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with policies
  • Act as a primary point of contact, communicate status updates, and conduct post-project reviews to identify areas for improvement
  • Coordinating any major project-related organizational changes within the company, such as financial, technological, operational, and governance changes
  • Analyzing any internal requests for changes and consulting with management to deny or approve the proposed changes
  • Project Planning: Develop detailed plans, timelines, and budgets for projects
  • Coordination and Communication: Act as a liaison between project teams, clients, and other departments
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate status updates, conduct governance calls, and manage relationships
  • Process and Quality Assurance: Ensure teams follow standard operating procedures, support the creation of documentation, and conduct post-project reviews
  • Change Management: Coordinate and manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs

Requirements:

  • Typically requires 8–10 years relevant experience in Banking/Healthcare/Insurance
  • Must have a minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Project & Program Management
  • Preferably MS Project, Copilot experience & exceptional written skills to document RAID items & improvement plans
  • Experience handling international (multi-geo) projects
  • Mandatory certification in Prince 2 or PMP
  • Exceptional understanding of BPO Project Management principles and techniques
  • Expert proficiency in required project management information system tools
  • Strong ability to identify, develop, and quantify corrective action plans
  • Ability to ensure effective project controls to monitor performance
  • Strong capability to provide performance reporting for clients and the company
  • Exceptional facilitation and communication skills
  • Strong ability to lead global project teams of large scope and high complexity
  • Ability to work with international stakeholders – UK, US, Spain, South Africa, and more including India
  • Deep understanding of own subject area and broad understanding of related subject areas
  • Handle diverse issues and lead projects that contribute to the company
  • Manage a broad, complex portfolio of projects
  • Lead large, globally dispersed teams across IT and business
  • Manage projects and programs with global impact and complex business/technical challenges
  • Define program value proposition, work plan, resource needs, timeline, and budget for global programs
  • Viewed internally as a Project Management expert
  • Monitor project performance in the Project Reporting System
  • Conduct PM Metrics and Practices Reviews
  • Facilitate Peer Project Reviews and Management Project Reviews

  • Core responsibilities – Project management, experience in managing transformation/automation projects will be an added advantage. (NO Scrum Masters)
