Job Responsibility

  • Lead all procurement activities for global New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from concept phase through serial production
  • Manage complex sourcing projects with responsibility for cost, quality, delivery performance and risk management
  • Support product industrialisation and ensure procurement readiness throughout the project lifecycle
  • Coordinate multiple international projects simultaneously within a matrix organisation
  • Develop and implement sourcing, supplier and commodity strategies
  • Lead supplier selection processes, RFQs and commercial negotiations
  • Build resilient and sustainable supply chains for critical components
  • Manage supplier performance, development initiatives and risk mitigation activities
  • Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, Logistics, Finance and Legal teams
  • Act as a trusted advisor to project teams and senior leadership
  • Provide project reporting, business updates and procurement insights to management
  • Drive decision-making through data analysis, business cases and risk assessments
  • Improve procurement processes, tools and best practices
  • Support governance, compliance and procurement standards
  • Contribute to operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation

Requirements

  • Significant 7+ years of experience in Strategic Procurement, Project Procurement, Supply Chain or Sourcing leadership roles
  • Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI), industrialisation or large-scale manufacturing projects
  • Strong project management capabilities within complex international organisations
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions and levels
  • Experience leading supplier negotiations and commercial discussions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Business-level English communication skills
  • German language skills are essential

Nice to have

  • Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field
  • Experience within MedTech, Healthcare, Life Sciences or other regulated industries
  • Knowledge of SAP systems and procurement tools
  • Experience working in global matrix organisations
