Job Responsibility:

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project
Establish baselines, track project progress, and report schedule deviations
Integrate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning timelines
Identify critical paths and propose corrective actions to mitigate delays
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, site execution, finance)
Develop and implement risk management frameworks in line with ISO 31000 / utility standards
Identify potential project and operational risks, quantify their impact, and develop mitigation strategies
Maintain risk registers and conduct regular risk review workshops
Support management in decision-making through risk-based performance insights
Prepare project cost estimates and budgets for CAPEX and OPEX components
Monitor cost performance against approved budgets and forecasts
Support procurement teams in bid evaluations and cost benchmarking
Generate cost variance reports and recommend cost-optimization measures
Ensure adherence to utility financial governance and audit requirements
Develop KPI dashboards for schedule, cost, and risk indicators
Prepare monthly project performance and progress reports for leadership
Support earned value analysis (EVA) to track schedule and cost efficiency
Present insights for management review and regulatory reporting
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engg
Degree or certification in Project Management / Risk Management / Cost Control (preferred)
Enough experience in power utility / EPC / transmission & distribution / generation projects
Strong exposure to project controls, risk assessment, and cost management systems
Hands-on experience in Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel-based cost models
Project risk analysis and mitigation planning
Cost estimation and variance analysis
Scheduling and critical path analysis
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (CEA, CERC, state utilities)
Data-driven reporting and analytics
Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
