We are looking for a Project Planner to join Ericsson’s Project Management Office (PMO) in Mexico City. In this high‑impact role, you will be data‑driven and play a key part in helping Customer Project Managers (CPMs) manage their Fulfillment Assignment Specifications (FAS) scope through robust planning, accurate data, and strong governance. You will secure that customer business is executed in line with Ericsson’s responsible business practices, including legal, financial, E+OHS, information security and privacy requirements, using standard processes and tools.
Job Responsibility:
Review and interpret contracts and project planning inputs (scope, schedule, PO issuance, invoicing/acceptance) and translate them into clearly defined customer deliverables and work plans.
Build and maintain project schedules, including dependencies, critical path, milestones, and forecasting, securing a realistic delivery pace based on FAS scope.
Ensure alignment between operational plans and Supply/delivery plans, enforcing planning governance and data quality, and escalating missing or poor‑quality inputs when required.
Maintain and update the Customer Deliverable Master List, top‑down plans, and the Project Library, ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and controlled.
Analyze operational, financial and delivery progress, using data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities, and produce accurate, timely project status and performance reports.
Configure and validate project setup in planning tools (including Site Tracker, Global Chronos, and related systems), administer data, and support standardization and continuous improvement.
Provide CPMs and stakeholders with standard and advanced status reports, advise on actions to maintain process adherence and data quality, and support E+OHS compliance and responsible business practices.
Requirements:
You have solid experience in project planning within complex, multi‑project environments (scheduling, dependencies, critical path, milestones, forecasting).
You bring a strong governance mindset and data discipline, consistently producing accurate, reliable plans and high‑quality data.
You demonstrate critical thinking: you are comfortable challenging unrealistic plans, highlighting risks, and proposing workable alternatives.
You have proven stakeholder management and influencing skills, especially when partnering with project managers and cross‑functional teams.
You have hands‑on experience with Site Tracker and other project planning tools
You communicate clearly, with strong documentation, reporting and presentation skills
You are proficient in Spanish and English, adapting your message to different audiences.
You are motivated by structure, clarity and continuous improvement, and you enjoy turning complex data and inputs into actionable, high‑quality plans.
