We are looking for an experienced Project Operations Manager to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will oversee financial and operational processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency while supporting our service industry initiatives. This is a long-term contract position offering a dynamic opportunity to collaborate with internal teams and clients on critical business functions.
Job Responsibility:
Manage financial transactions, including invoicing, credit notes, purchase orders, and intercompany requests
Oversee cost allocations and ensure accurate contract-related financial inputs for client accounts
Maintain and update master financial data such as client, project, and vendor information
Review and approve financial documents, including invoices, purchasing requests, and hiring requests, in accordance with established authority protocols
Perform general ledger cost allocations based on guidance from finance business partners or contract accountants
Execute month-end closing activities, adhering to organizational policies and deadlines
Ensure all financial and contract reporting is accurate, compliant, and consistent
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to address issues and fulfill account requirements
Identify risks, errors, and areas for improvement in operational processes and financial controls
Meet monthly deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and efficiency
Requirements:
Proven experience in operations management, particularly within the finance and service sectors
Strong knowledge of finance transformation processes and US GAAP standards
Demonstrated ability to manage approved invoices and oversee month-end close responsibilities
Proficiency in handling complex financial transactions and maintaining detailed financial records
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and internal teams
Ability to identify and mitigate risks while improving operational processes
Detail-oriented with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with financial reporting and compliance requirements
