Job Description

We are looking for a Project Operations Manager specializing in Reporting & Reconciliation to join our Professional Services team in São Paulo. You will be the technical-financial expert for our biggest merchants, ensuring they can successfully reconcile their payments and optimize Adyen’s reporting tools. This is a new role, where you will have the opportunity to create the playbook needed that bridges the gap between delivery and accounting.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of reporting setups
  • Guide merchants on mapping Adyen data to their General Ledgers and ERP systems
  • Configure submerchant payout logic, settlement timing, fees, receivables, and Brazil-specific tax reporting
  • Act as the lead problem-solver for complex reconciliation discrepancies and tough reporting questions
  • Partner with global Product teams to fix systemic issues and improve reporting tools
  • Create scalable guides and templates to automate common tasks
  • Train internal teams to better understand the financial mechanics of our platform

Requirements

  • C1 level proficiency in both English and Portuguese
  • 5+ years in financial reporting, reconciliation, or payments
  • Experience managing complex technical projects or rollouts with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong logical skills to find root causes in large datasets
  • Able to explain dense financial logic simply and professionally

  • Provide specialized support for submerchant payout logic, settlement timing, fees, receivables advancements and tax reporting
  • Serve as the key escalation point for our Commercial and Support teams when they face tough reporting questions
  • Support high-value or complex focus accounts with their unique reconciliation challenges, acting as a true problem-solver
  • Provide direct feedback to our global Product teams to help them improve our tools and fix systemic issues
  • Partner with Technical Support to improve response quality and resolution times
  • Work closely with Project Operation Managers and Implementation Manager teams to offload specialized financial responsibilities and enable scale
  • Identify common issues and create clear, scalable guides, templates, and documentation for both merchants and our internal teams
