Project Officer

• Support the coordination of key components of IEA’s energy technology network
• Support the coordination and reporting for the Energy Technology Policy Divisions participation in the IEA Clean Energy Transitions Programme (CETP)
• Support the Division with tracking financial voluntary contributions from external donors, and contribute with affiliated narrative reporting
• Prepare procurements related to such as the hosting of events and the hiring of external consulants
• Support the Energy Technology Policy Division with other project and processes to improve the division’s effectiveness

• Post-secondary level of education, preferably at university level or equivalent, in statistics, economics, public policy or technical subject relevant to energy or equivalent experience
• At least five years professional experience in an energy related field
• Broad experience with event management and communication
• Experience and interest in project management, involving being part of a small teams to deliver outputs
• Fluency in one of the two OECD official languages (English and French) and knowledge of the other, with a commitment to reach a good working level

Knowledge of other languages would be an asset
