Job Description

A council is requesting a Project Officer with CMC capabilities to assist with their project department. The role: We Are seeking an experienced Project Officer with strong experience in Content Management Systems (CMS), digital platforms, and system replacement projects to support a key digital transformation initiative.

Job Responsibility

  • Support planning, coordination, and delivery of Content Management System (CMS) implementation and replacement projects
  • Assist with project governance, reporting, scheduling, risk and issue management, and project documentation
  • Coordinate workshops, meetings, and stakeholder engagement activities across business and technical teams
  • Gather and document business requirements, user needs, and functional specifications

Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a Project Officer, Project Coordinator, or Business Support Officer within digital, web, or CMS projects
  • Experience supporting Content Management System implementations, upgrades, or replacement programs
  • Strong understanding of digital platforms, website content management, and migration activities
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Bachelors Degree
