We are seeking a skilled Project Officer to join a dynamic team dedicated to transforming service delivery and supporting frontline staff through significant organisational change. This role offers the opportunity to provide technical expertise and leadership, ensuring that complex projects are delivered effectively to support a better life for thousands of Australians.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide leadership and decision-making for team members within your assigned work area to resolve complex issues and risks
  • Develop and manage vital business documentation, including Service Blueprints and system guidance for frontline staff
  • Offer specialist advice and technical system expertise regarding project initiatives to internal stakeholders and frontline teams
  • Perform independent research and analysis to prepare draft reports, business cases, executive briefs, and corporate plans
  • Coordinate regular project reporting, including status updates and exception reports, while ensuring all deliverables are fit for purpose

Requirements:

  • Proven experience across the full project development life cycle, including release planning and implementation
  • Strong technical proficiency in Salesforce and/or Jira, with a solid understanding of Agile ways of working and Scrum
  • Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder relationships and negotiate effectively to achieve work area goals
  • High-level analytical skills to investigate frequent problems and provide sound, expert-based solutions under limited direction
  • Must be a Brisbane based candidate with unlimited working rights
  • 6 years experience
  • Tertiary qualification of relevant field
  • Bachelor Degree
