Job Responsibility:
Manage end-to-end delivery of HEIF-funded and associated projects, from initiation to close
Define project scope, objectives, milestones, risks, and success criteria in collaboration with sponsors and stakeholders
Lead and coordinate project teams, ensuring delivery to time, budget, and quality standards
Develop and maintain robust project plans, reports, and documentation
Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change, escalating where appropriate
Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, ensuring clear communication and alignment
Integrate new programmes into University operations and planning systems
Champion best practice in project management and continuous improvement
Requirements:
Significant experience leading complex business transformation or change projects end-to-end
Strong knowledge of project management frameworks and governance
Confident managing and influencing multiple stakeholders, including senior leaders and external partners
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively
Strong commercial, financial, and analytical skills
Nice to have:
Experience working in higher education, legal, or regulated environments is desirable
A project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, PMI-ACP) is desirable
Knowledge and understanding of HEIF and research funding is desirable
