Job Description

A leading multidisciplinary construction and real estate consultancy based in London is looking to appoint a Project Manager to join its established project management team. This Project Manager opportunity offers the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of high-profile commercial developments, delivering projects for prestigious occupiers, investors and developers across the capital. The successful Project Manager will join a market-leading consultancy renowned for delivering complex schemes and providing excellent career progression opportunities. This Project Manager role would suit a confident and client-facing Project Manager who is comfortable taking ownership of projects from inception through to completion. The Project Manager will work closely with clients, consultants and contractors, leading project teams and ensuring successful delivery across all stages of the project lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager looking to work on landmark commercial projects whilst developing their career within a highly respected consultancy environment. You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

Job Responsibility

  • Acting as the lead Project Manager on commercial developments
  • Managing projects from feasibility through to completion and handover
  • Coordinating multidisciplinary consultant and contractor teams
  • Leading client meetings and stakeholder engagement activities
  • Developing and maintaining project programmes
  • Monitoring project costs, risks and overall performance

Requirements

  • Previous construction consultancy experience
  • Strong commercial sector project experience
  • Experience delivering projects through the full project lifecycle
  • A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
  • Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience coordinating consultants and contractor teams
  • Strong programme and risk management capabilities
  • Commercial awareness and financial management experience
  • Chartered status or progress towards MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB or equivalent would be advantageous
  • A proactive and professional approach to project delivery
