The primary objective of this engagement is to provide Project Management support to promote the successful system transition of the on-prem in-house custom EMS registry to an ImageTrend SaaS product for the Pennsylvania DOH, Bureau of EMS.
Job Responsibility:
Provide Project Management support to promote the successful system transition of the on-prem in-house custom EMS registry to an ImageTrend SaaS product for the Pennsylvania DOH, Bureau of EMS
Work closely with program and vendor to execute an approved Statement of Work
Collaborate with program to successfully, identify, engage and communicate with all relevant stakeholders
Build a project plan
Hold the vendor accountable to follow all expectations outlined in the executed SOW
Work with Leadership to drive decisions when needed
Direct, administer, manage, and facilitate enhancement, re-engineering of a business process or a developmental project
Drive the entire effort from start to finish
Ensure the project is completed on schedule, within the defined budget and that the final product meets requirements
Manage, coordinate, and establish priorities for complete life cycle of projects
Develop estimates for the effort
Develop the detailed Project Management Plan
Design project plans
Manage, and track the project progress against the project schedule
Monitor project milestones and phases
Monitor and track the project budget
Plan, organize, prioritize, and manage multiple work efforts
Notify team members of project timelines
Schedule or monitor status reviews
Capture and reporting of required project management metrics
Analyze and distribute reports on project metrics
Ensure all changes to scope follow processes
Create, review, and obtain approval of the Communication Plan and Deliverables Matrix
Prepare status reports
Report status and recommendations to senior leadership
Follow HHS DC IT PMO methodology
Provide input and support for continual improvement within the HHS DC IT PMO
Mentor less experienced project management project staff
Work closely with HHS DC IT Application, Data Warehouse, Informatics, Solution Management, Networking, Security and Service Management teams
Facilitate discussions between IT areas and vendors
Anticipate issues and proactively address them
Identify and manage project risk and issues
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related issues
Communicate effectively with customers and suppliers
Accountable for the final project management evaluation review
Provide weekly project updates
Coordinate system testing
Deliver presentations
Ensure project compliance with HHS DC standards and procedures
Develop and facilitate the achievement of project service commitments
Balance workload with project members’ capacity
Plan, coordinate, and conduct training and orientation sessions
Accountable for peer reviews
Coordinate and present proposals
Plan project specific training and orientation needs
Complete weekly timesheet reporting in PeopleFluent/VectorVMS
Provide weekly personal status reporting
Set-up a project SharePoint site and utilize Microsoft Teams for key documentation
Requirements:
PMP certification for a minimum of 5 years, preferably through the PMI Institute
Must reside in Pennsylvania upon submittal, no relocation
Be able to work in the Harrisburg office two (2) days a week as requested
Familiar with the five (5) phases along with inputs/outputs identified by the Project Management Institute (PMI)
Proven experience leading projects to a successful implementation
