We are looking for an outstanding Project Manager to take charge of our residential and mixed-use construction projects from start to finish. In this key leadership role, you'll be responsible for delivering outstanding projects on time and within budget. We are a team of innovators dedicated to redefining industry standards by using the latest technologies and sustainable practices. This position is perfect for a proactive, confident problem-solver with a passion for building great things and fostering teamwork. Candidates must be open to working on-site at various project locations in B.C and potentially Alberta as required.
Job Responsibility:
Project Planning & Execution: Spearhead every project stage, from pre-construction planning through to final handover. This includes developing and managing project schedules, scopes of work, and procurement to ensure milestones are met
Leadership & Coordination: Provide clear direction to site teams, subcontractors, and consultants. You'll mentor junior team members and collaborate closely with design, engineering, and fabrication teams to ensure seamless execution
Financial & Contract Oversight: Maintain strict control over project financials, including budget management, cost forecasting, and the approval of invoices and change orders. You will also support value engineering and strategic purchasing efforts
Communication & Risk Management: Serve as the main point of contact for clients and all stakeholders, leading project meetings and maintaining clear documentation. You'll be responsible for proactively identifying and mitigating project risks while ensuring full compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
A post-secondary degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a similar discipline
A minimum of five years of project management experience in the construction industry
Demonstrated ability to successfully manage complex contracts and navigate permitting processes
Proven experience working in remote or out-of-town project locations
