Based out of their Western Adelaide office, you will champion the delivery of high-profile commercial building projects across the wider Adelaide region. This is a highly autonomous role where you will not only deliver projects but also play a key hand in expanding a thriving commercial structures portfolio.
Job Responsibility
End-to-End Delivery: Overseeing full project execution, ensuring milestones are met on time, within scope, and on budget
Relationship Management: Acting as the primary point of contact to build strong, collaborative relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
HSEQ Leadership: Fostering a safety-first culture on-site
developing and managing SWMS, ITPs, and ensuring strict compliance with Quality and Environmental standards
Design & Administration: Managing the design coordination process, raising and tracking RFIs, and overseeing contract administration
Commercial Growth: Utilising your commercial expertise to optimise project margins and assist with project estimations when required
Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of proven Project Management experience within the local Australian construction market (contractor environment preferred)
Technical Knowledge: A strong background in commercial building, structural refurbishments, or complex construction upgrades
Commercial Acumen: Robust financial and commercial skills, with an ability to manage budgets, variations, and schedules effectively
Leadership: A demonstrated track record of leading, mentoring, and motivating site teams and subcontractors
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative approach to client management
Qualifications: A relevant tertiary degree (Construction Management / Civil Engineering) or an equivalent structural trade background
